Devon Railway Centre hosts a number of special events every season.

Our special events in 2023 are as follows:

EASTER EGG HUNT – April 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th

Help Betsy Bunny Solve the Bunny trail and win an Easter gift.

CORONATION CELEBRATION – May 6th, 7th & 8th

Take a ride behind our steam locomotive and celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.  Solve our coronation clues and win a sweet treat!  Complimentary cake for all adults.

FATHERS DAY SPECIAL – June 18th

Bring dad for a fun day out with our steam loco, model railways and miniature trains.  Dads admitted FREE when accompanied by a full paying child.

DIESEL & DOUGHNUT – July 8th & 9th

See our diesel locomotives in operation.  Ride behind a Double Diesel Special and enjoy a complimentary doughnut in our tea rooms.

ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL – September 23rd & 24th

Come and celebrate 25 years of the Devon Railway Centre.  Enjoy unlimited rides behind both steam and diesel engines.  Many of our exhibits in action.  Complimentary sweet treat for all our visitors.

HALLOWEEN SPECIAL – October 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th & 29th

Explore the pumpkin trail and discover the Halloween treasure!  Free Halloween gift for all children age 3 and over.
